Grab a slice of strawberry pie and join the Bitches as they take a red and wild road trip to revisit the gay cult camp classic To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar. Thanksgiving is a time for family, including the ones that we make, even if it’s through bonds forged on the open road and maybe an attempted, but well deserved, murder. Daniel questions why no one is celebrating the statuesque glory that is Stockard Channing, even though she proves to not be a believable victim. Max wonders if everyone can hear the music or if it’s just him during the make over sequence. Either way he feels the need to dance. Then the Besties look beyond the dated jokes and questionable gender identity to explore why a queer film like this is so important to the culture. Cheers!
