Description
Welcome brothers and sisters to Mormon Movie Reviews: Where LDS movie lovers belong! Film Summary In Palmyra, New York in 1820, 14 year-old Joseph Smith Jr. wonders what church to join. He feels that none of the local religions are true and wants a divine answer. One spring morning, he goes out to pray in a grove near his home and starts to pray. He feels an evil spirit trying to prevent him from supplication. But he is freed from this malevolent presence by the most glorious light accompanied by two personages: Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Jesus tells Joseph to not join any of the churches because they were all wrong.
