This episode was used to draw attention to the Ward Family. The Ward Family is from Elizabethtown, KY and has three small children. Two of them (Tenley and Adley) are battling Leukemia. There father is a die-hard deer hunter. They are unable to work and renting a house close to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital to stay close to the girls.
