Ep. 440: Rebuilding A Relationship in Destruction Mode

There’s a moment right before you end a relationship that might be the perfect opportunity to destroy the status quo and rebuild from scratch. Buuuuut just because you’re in this “destruction mode” doesn’t mean this plan will work every time. It may sound like a great idea—starting over again—but sometimes change comes a little too late, and you can’t erase the past and certain hurts. Relationships can bring out the best and the worst in people, and being together doesn’t stop us from growing, even if that means growing apart. As much as we wish there was, there’s no one piece of relationship advice to solve all problems, but as long as you stay open and honest and communicate clearly, you’ll never regret trying, no matter what the outcome is.
