Dateline: November 24, 2023. Rossifari Zoo News is back with a round up of the latest news in the world of zoos, aquariums, conservation, and animal weirdness!  

In Zoo News, we start our births and deaths, including the births of some new tigers, the first rhino born in Arizona in decades, a tree kangaroo joey, and more. We also say goodbye to a beautiful juvenile bonobo at the Cincinnati Zoo, a very special lion who lived at the Denver Zoo, and a beloved bear at the Great Plains Zoo.

We then move on to our other Zoo News stories, in which we announce the arrival of my friend Squirt at Aquarium of Niagara, come up with a plan to help the Lehigh Valley Zoo get red pandas, an update on Kipenzi the giraffe, and so much more!

In Conservation News, we talk about how the California wild fires that keep happening are affecting the survival strategies of the animals that live there, how dogs and cats are affecting the native populations of Madagascar, and an amazing story about New Guinea singing dogs! 

And in Other News, we talk about a disease affecting canines including pet dogs, and a really beautiful story from our friend Dani Poirier Larson.
