Berlin based producer and DJ, Anna Kost has been forging a luminescent path for herself in the techno circuit in the past years. After surfacing on Soma Records and Warok Music in 2021, her EP ‘See Life Better’ on Hotflush Recordings sets out an overview of her approach to the form. Rooted in European techno but with heavy influences from the broken-beat sounds of the UK underground, her music combines technical dexterity with a stylistic literacy that belies her limited catalogue. Her mixes for Slam Radio and Cosmonauts Athens feature an expert feel for shifting moods, with a rare ability to blend contrasting styles to create something entirely new.
