Abbie is a mama to ten, Bible-believing Christian, home educator (and homeschool graduate), fitness instructor, one-time high school Spanish teacher, bargain hunter, perpetual furniture rearranger, and wife to Shaun. Abbie and her family live in the Piney Woods of East Texas. She lives by the motto that “hard is not the same thing as bad” and encourages woman to dig deep to meet the challenges of everyday life through her blog and Instagram posts.

Abbie is also a published author, which is the culmination of a lifelong dream that God brought to fruition in His perfect way and timing. She has published two books in the last 18 months - "M is for Mama" and "Hard Is Not the Same Thing As Bad." She also gets really fired up about helping mamas claim their identities and find simple, doable rhythms for their days that allow them to create an environment of realistic joy and peace in their homes.
