הגמ' מציינת את המעלה הגדולה שבתיבת "ופרצת" – "לא כאברהם כו' ולא כיצחק כו' אלא כיעקב שכתוב בו [בראשון פ' ויצא] ופרצת ימה וקדמה וצפונה ונגבה". והנה תיבת "ופרצת" משמעותה – פריצת בנין. ולכאו', הרי מובן שבנין וגדר זה, שעליו אומרים שצ"ל בו "ופרצת", הוא בנין דקדושה (כי פריצת בנין דלעו"ז ה"ז באמת בנין), ומהי המעלה בפריצת בנין כזה? אלא הכוונה ב"בנין" זה הוא "דרך המיצוע" הוא דרך הישרה עפ"י תורה, ומ"מ צ"ל "ופרצת" – לצאת מכל ההגבלות, גם הגבלות דקדושה. וזוהי הנקודה של המאמר ד"ה באתי לגני ה'תש"י, שכדי לנצח ה"שטות דלעו"ז" וחושך הכפול והמכופל של הגלות, לא מספיק ללכת בדרך המיצוע, בנין דקדושה, אלא העבודה צ"ל דוקא באופן ד"שטות דקדושה". וההוראה: לימוד התורה של תלמידי הישיבה וישובי אוהל בכלל, ונתינת הצדקה וקיום המצוות בכלל של בעלי עסק, צ"ל באופן של "ופרצת" – ללא הגבלות! ועי"ז נזכה בקרוב לביאת המשיח שנק' "פורץ".

The Gemara describes the greatness of the word U’paratzta – “not like Avraham…and not like Yitzchak…but like Yaakov, of whom it is written [in the first aliyah of Parashas Vayetzei] ‘And you shall break out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south.’” The word U’paratzta connotes “breaking” something down; since the Torah says U’paratzta, it expresses breaking down something that according to Torah is considered a building of holiness (because deep down, something that’s a building of le’umas zeh constitutes destruction, and knocking it down constitutes building). Seemingly, then, what is the benefit of breaking down such a building? The answer is that the “building” here means the “middle path”, which is the proper path according to Torah; nevertheless, in the time of exile we must “break it down” – by going beyond all limitations, including the boundaries within holiness. And this is the basic point of the Maamar Basi L’gani 5710: to be victorious over the shtus of le’umas zeh and the doubled and redoubled darkness of exile – it’s not enough to follow the middle path (a holy “building”). Rather, we must adopt the path of shtus of holiness. The lesson is: Torah study and mitzvos must be in a manner of U’paratzta – without limits! In this way will very soon merit the coming of Moshiach, who is called the “breaker.”
