The Back To The Blockbuster team is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Child’s Play, directed by Tom Holland from a screenplay he co-wrote with Don Mancini and John Lafia. Starring Catherine Hicks, Alex Vincent, Chris Sarandon and Brad Dourif as Chucky, the plot follows a widowed mother who gives a doll to her son, unaware that the doll is possessed by the soul of a serial killer. In addition to the anniversary, the duo also discusses the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike after 118 days, film delays hitting Marvel, and the not so marvelous box office performance of The Marvels.
