א) פרשת תולדות נק' כך ע"ש התחלתה "ואלה תולדות יצחק", ולכאו' עפ"י הסדר, זה הי' צ"ל השם של פ' "נח" שלפנ"ז שמתחילה גם עם "אלה תולדות נח", ושם פ' תולדות שלאח"ז הי' צ"ל "יצחק"?! בשם "תולדות" מודגש יותר הענין של מעשה בפועל: "תולדותיהם של צדיקים - "ועמך כולם צדיקים" - מעשים טובים", משא"כ "נח" מורה יותר על ענין של שכר - מנוחת הנפש והגוף וכו'. ב) התחלת הברכות שבירך יצחק את יעקב הוא "ויתן לך האלקים וגו'" [שבשישי דפ' תולדות] וכפרש"י "ויתן ויחזור ויתן", והיינו, שהברכות הן באופן של מלכתחילה אריבער", ועד"ז מתברך כאו"א מישראל!

1) Parashas Toldos is named for the beginning of the parashah, “And these are the generations of Yitzchak”; seemingly, based on the order of the parashiyos, the previous parashah, which similarly begins, “These are the descendants of Yitzchak” ought to have been called Toldos, while this week’s parashah ought to have been called “Yitzchak”?! The name Toldos puts a greater emphasis on practical deeds because “the descendants of tzaddikim (and ‘Your people are all tzaddikim’) are good deeds”, whereas “Noach” is more connotative of reward, peace of mind and body etc. 2) The beginning of Yitzchak’s bracha to Yaakov is “And may Hashem give you etc.” (in the sixth aliyah of Parashas Toldos), and as Rashi explains, “May He give and repeatedly give,” meaning, the brachos are in a manner of milechatcila ariber, and every Jew is similarly blessed.
