Practicing Fast | What Sport Coaches Really Mean When They Say This

Season 2 Published 2 years, 5 months ago
Description

Ever heard sport coaches say we will practice fast? I'm sure you have heard your sport coach say that before. But they don't really know what they mean when they say it.

What they really are saying is they want to practice dense. Density = work / time. That is what they are trying to do when they say they will practice fast. They will call and run lots of plays over a short amount of time. Yet, the players won't actually run close to their max speed (fast). Listen as we react to a P5 American Football coach talk about practicing fast.
