Description
yes mam, coming right in! Skender Makota HOUSE Part 2 recorded at Zg Underground - Zagreb Croatia 15 Dec 2018 This is just a small amount of DJ sets I actually played, simply because I would get carried away too early and people would party sooner than I had a chance to set up an interface and computer to record the set, a mere 10 minutes of fiddling, but absolutely impossible as I'm building the set and partying along! However, just as I used to be petrified of losing a hard drive, or files containing songs in Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, Reason or whatever, I learned soon that as long as you have the ear and soul in check, you should be able to rebuild your idea and often times when I did think I lost original sessions, the newly made versions would most likely sound better, refreshed and with more energy, as the mixdown would be practically rebuilt from the scratch... SO - DO NOT WORRY and NO FILE IS PRECIOUS, since YOU are whats precious and YOU did it once, you can do it again. Yes - electronic music can be tedious anti-logic cable wrapped and computer crashing terror as you set up your show, this is simply due to the nature of electronic instruments and digital recordings which leave very little room for natural resonances of acoustic instruments and sound captured in real air, not virtual matrix of zeros and ones... On top of that nuances of live instruments recorded through traditional means were somewhat desired, and many traditional engineers would have trouble having to move from analog to digital "way of life", not just recording method itself. Electronic music does not allow this kind of uncertainty left to chance, since the result could be piercing buzzes, insanely loud digital distributions and embarrassment. Likewise and production-wise, it would be logical to assume that once the electronic instrument is recorded in its perfect frequency resonance, the loss of the recording or misplaced parts etc would mean death of a project.. But as time went by, I realized that the IDEA behind the emotional message accompanied by reassuring beats, bowel moving basses and floating through space synths is what matters to the listener and audience out there! I could play one song using totally different samples for each of the tracks, and I guarantee that 99% of those party ppl would never even notice, as long as you and they are grooving real good to the current version!! Means DANCING, having a good time. Old track or New mix, don't matter to them, nor should to you. Anyhow, enjoy the mixes and check back often, as I update and add new DJ mixes of all diff styles I like to mix, from oldskool, disco, to house, Chicago house, techno, tech house, all the way up to trance, jungle, and heart tearing melodic lush big sound anthems etc...
