Bible Passage (KJV): 1 Peter 4:12-14

QUESTIONS

Q1. What does God say about what we will feel when Christ is revealed? Why? What will make you exceeding glad?

Q2. Give an example of a disciple who could not rejoice with exceeding joy when Christ resurrected? Why? Give an example of someone who saw beyond and suffered willingly? What must I learn?

Q3. What does being reproached for the name of Christ mean? Give examples. Who can they come from and what can result? What might be some reasons I hardly face any reproaches and trials?

Q4. What must you consider yourself to be when you are reproached for the Name of Christ? What does it mean?

Q5. What are some typical situations where people feel that they are blessed? But what does God say about the situation where we are blessed? Why?

Bible Passage (KJV): 1 Peter 4:12-14

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
