This after antisemitism in the US had already escalated last year to its highest recorded level. Plus, Palestinian civilians are suffering in Gaza, and 200+ soldiers and civilians are still being held hostage by Hamas. Such widespread pain leads to a rational question: Why does God allow innocent suffering?
