The strong sales volumes seen during the second half of 2020 carried into 2021 with January seeing sales at a 2nd all time high, only trailing 2016. This is a reoccurring theme lately, where it feels like 2016 all over again. Properties are appreciating at a very high rate and multiple offer scenarios are commonplace. We explore what is causing this sustained pressure and how long we think it will last.
