Our month filled with February events is off to the races and there is plenty to cover this week. As the Johto Celebration wraps up, we discuss our feelings on the Miltank hunt as well as how the Timed Research was all about Team GO Rocket, rather than Johto. This leads us directly into the Team GO Rocket Celebration which is keeping us very busy hunting down Grunts and Leaders, however leaves us wanting more from the Timed Research. We are also wondering where Giovanni has been!

The Lunar New Year Event is shaping up to be very exciting as the event touches on just about every area of the game. We will see a Timed Research featuring Tauros that will give global players an opportunity to catch the North American regional exclusive.

Pokeminers have put out an APK teardown of 0.199.0 which has a lot of exciting bits of code to speculate about. They found new music, moves, quality of life improvements as well as an update to the friend and invite system. We are excited to see if and how these features roll out.
