Hate Can Kill is an award-winning documentary by Imtiaz Popat that looks at the community response to the 1998 murder of Nirmal Singh Gill, a caretaker at the Guru Nanak Gurudwara in Surrey, by five white supremacist skinheads.
An updated film looks at this event and others that have happened since: events where people have been killed because of hate. This version has won over 50 film festival awards 🎖 and has been shown around the world!
The afternoon screening is followed by a talkback with the filmmaker and guests Gurpreet Singh, Annie Ohana and Michael Rubin
