Episode 55: What If Your Head Of School Was A Social Media Influencer?

OK, I’ll admit it.

This is one of the strangest episode titles that I have had on the podcast so far.

I know that a lot of us roll our eyes when we hear the term “social media influencer”, because we think that term describes a lazy person who makes a lot of money for doing nothing. That might be true for some influencers, but I want to make sure that you don’t miss the point.

Leadership is about influence.

According to the Miriam-Webster dictionary: “The noun typically refers to the power to change or affect someone or something—especially the power to cause changes without directly forcing those changes to happen. Influence can also refer to a person or thing that affects someone or something in an important way.”

We are trying to get our teachers and students to change and grow in important and powerful ways without using force or coercion. On today’s episode of the Private School Leader Podcast, we are going to discuss The 7 Most Important Leadership Lessons From Social Media Influencers.

I know that you are super busy, so be sure to listen while you are doing something else. I hope that you will get value from this episode as you serve and lead your school community. Thank you for taking some time out of your day to listen to the podcast!

Thanks for making a difference,

Mark Minkus
