Adolis Garcia has absolutely torn it up this Postseason after winning ALCS MVP and the Cardinals have come under immense scrutiny for trading him to the Rangers. However, the "mistake" of letting go Adolis Garcia is perhaps the biggest Cardinals myth. We defend John Mozeliak's decision to part with Garcia and bust many other Cardinals myths. The Ozuna trade? Not firing Oli Marmol? Payroll increase? Randy Arozarena? How many of these have actually been big mistakes? Are any of these myths actually true?
Also, Japanese reliever Yuki Matsui has been linked with the Cardinals. According to reports, the Cardinals have made an official offer to the closer. However, due to mistranslation, we can only assume the Cardinals are extremely interested in the reliever, even more than other teams who've scouted him.
