Hike, Bike and Kayak Adventures in Cassis France

Hike, Bike and Kayak Adventures in Cassis France

I loved Cassis so much that I considered moving there!  Tucked along the Mediterranean Sea in the beautiful south of France (a brief train ride from Marseille!), is Cassis.

I saw mostly French day tourists in this charming and unpretentious fishing village, so you get to experiencce the real France.  The stunning collanques (towering cliffs with cool bays to paddle and explore) offer great hiking and kayaking.  You can also take a boat tour through the many dramatic collanques.  Cycle through the neighboring vineyards and go on a wine tasting tour.  There is even a restored castle on the hill!

Learn all about this beautiful and exciting active adventure on today's show.
