Episode 54: Would you hang out with people that talk to you the way that you talk to yourself?

Would you hang out with people that talk to you the way that you talk to yourself?

Stop and think about your self-talk.

  • How do you talk to yourself when you mess up at work?
  • How do you talk to yourself when you let work take priority over your family?

My self-talk used to be bad.

I have said all of these things to myself:

  • You are a loser.”
  • “You really have no idea what you're doing.”
  • “You are a terrible leader.”
  • “You are a terrible father.”
  • “The school is more important to you than your family.”

Ask you again. Think about the people that you CHOOSE to hang out with.

Would you hang out with people that talk to you the way that you talk to yourself?

Many of you are WAY too hard on yourselves.

You would NEVER talk to someone else the way you talk to yourself

On today’s episode of the PSLP, we are going to discuss The 8 Steps To Overcoming Your Negative Self Talk.

I hope that you will listen to the podcast for your weekly dose of motivation, inspiration and PD. Thanks so much for listening and thanks for making a difference!
