Published 2 years, 5 months ago
Description
Kate Cross and Nasser Hussain join Ian Ward to analyse England’s eight-wicket drubbing by Sri Lanka at the Cricket World Cup which left them on the verge of an early exit. Joe Buttler said he can’t put his finger on why England have struggled in the competition. England’s white-ball head coach Matthew Mott insists team selection is not the reason his side slipped to a damaging defeat to Sri Lanka. While Nasser Hussain gives his opinion on the structure of English cricket and believes it’s a ’lame’ excuse for the holders' poor performance at the World Cup.
