My guest for this episode is Dr. Patton McDowell. Patton has enjoyed a successful 30-year career in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development.
Patton is the author of the best-selling book, Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership and host of the weekly podcast, also titled Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership. He founded PMA Nonprofit Leadership in 2009 and has coached and consulted with over 275 nonprofit organizations. A Certified Fundraising Executive and Master Trainer for AFP Global, he also serves as an Executive in Residence at Cornell University's Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy.
Patton is a native of Elizabeth City, NC, and received a bachelor's degree in English Education from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar. He received his MBA from the McColl School of Business at Queens and his Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California.
