I’ve shared quite a few tips in some of my other podcasts and I began thinking about the what were the things that made the biggest impact on my own photography.

On reflection, there are 5:

  1. Understanding shutter speed and how to create movement in an image.
  2. Understanding Aperture, especially how to control depth of field.
  3. Experimenting with different compositions and how they changed the impact of the photograph.
  4. Understanding how to create a specific mood using contrast and lighting.
  5. How to make a connection between the subject and the person viewing the image.

I hope that at least one of them inspires you!
