Mississippi State gets on the SEC scoreboard by beating Arkansas. A low-scoring battle favored the Bulldog defense which gained valuable confidence in the road win. The offense survived with a new starting quarterback, safe play calling, and just one touchdown in the 7-3 win. A win at Auburn would keep MSU momentum going as well as all but assure bowl eligibility again. Coordinators Kevin Barbay and Matt Brock provide their weekly comments.
