מסופר בפ' לך לך [בראשון דפ' לך לך] איך שאברם עשה חזקה בארץ ישראל עי"ז ש"ויסע אברם הלך ונסוע הנגבה". ולכן אף שבתחלת הסדרה נאמר שהקב"ה אמר לו "לזרעך אתן את הארץ הזאת" ‏–‏ לשון עתיד, הנה ההליכה שלו בא"י פעלה (גם) מ"ש בסיום הסדרה, שהקב"ה אמר לו בברית בית הבתרים כמ"ש בשישי דפ' לך לך] "לזרעך נתתי את הארץ הזאת" ‏–‏ שכבר נתן בפועל ממש. ועד"ז בזמננו, צ"ל "הליכה" בכל ארץ ישראל ‏–‏ ליישב את כל השטחים של ארץ ישראל! וישנה ההבטחה שזה יעבור בשמחה ובטוב לבב ובשלום! כיון שכבר "לזרעך נתתי". ולא נוגע שיהי' ב"קול רם" אלא העיקר שתהי' ההתיישבות בפועל!

[The first aliyah of] Parashas Lech Lecha states that “Avram travelled, continually travelling southward,” thereby taking possession of Eretz Yisrael. Therefore, though in the beginning of the parashah Hashem tells Avram, “I will give this land to your offspring” – at the end of the parashah, Hashem tells him during the Bris Bein Habesarim [in the sixth aliyah], “I have given this Land to your offspring” – He had already given it to him. And so, too, in our times: we must “go” throughout the entire Eretz Yisrael – and settle all the territories! We are promised that this will happen with joy and gladness of heart, and peacefully, because it’s already been “given.” And this doesn’t need to be done loudly; the main thing is to actually do it!
