Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.

Halloween has always been that time of year that really suits roleplaying games! Plenty of games already have elements of horror built into them, and many of the classic adventure scenarios out there feature very Halloween-centric themes by default. Not to mention the amount of games that are horror themed by their very core rules. With Halloween merely days away, I wanted to go over some games that you and your group should consider that I think would be very suitable, some of which you may never have heard of before. I also go over some scenarios/adventures that were built around the idea of Halloween, like the excellent DCC RPG Horror series. The games themselves aren't the only thing you should consider though, tune in to hear my advice on what other elements you can implement into your game night to  create a really unique and spooky experience your players won't soon forget.
