Vibe of the day - Bullying (National Bullying Prevention Month)

Season 1 Episode 23

Today's vibe of the day is bullying. Considering October is National Bullying Prevention Month, I wanted this episode to emphasize why we should stop bullying and why bullying is not good. Bullying can have devastating effects on an individual's mental health, and it can lead to long-term negative consequences. Creating a supportive environment that encourages people to be respectful and kind to one another is important. Everyone should work together to end bullying.A bully is a person who likes to hurt or threaten others, usually by teasing, fighting, or spreading rumors. Bullying can be stopped with education and awareness and by teaching people to be more tolerant and understanding of others. It is important to recognize the signs of bullying and to take action to prevent it. Everyone should work together to create a safe and supportive environment.

We must stop bullying people because it can cause lasting emotional damage and can lead to depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Bullying can also lead to physical harm, as victims often feel scared and helpless, leading to physical manifestations of their internal distress. Bullying can also cause people to lose their self-esteem and self-worth, which can lead to further negative consequences.

Nathaniel Branden, an American psychotherapist, once wrote: “A bully hides his fears with fake bravado. That is the opposite of self-assertiveness.”
