Today, I’m speaking with education disrupter, Matt Beaudreau. In 2016, Matt launched Acton Academy Placer – an alternative to the traditional education model that’s reshaping how kids learn. It’s not a school, it’s a workforce.
After working his way from public school teacher to private school administrator, Matt got an up-close-and-personal view of the education system. He saw an opportunity to revamp education to prepare students to succeed at life — not just at standardized tests — and Acton Academy was born.
Kids learn hands-on through trial and error, self-awareness, self-confidence, perseverance, and the things they're actually passionate about.
More recently, Matt Co-Founded Apogee Strong – a specialized mentorship program designed specifically to shape young men into better providers and protectors.
