It’s been estimated that if women invested at the same rate as men, there would be a further $3.2 trillion in assets under management from private individuals. To put that figure in perspective, it is larger than the GDP of the UK. So, there is indeed a gender investment gap in the UK, and it is being targeted by a new venture between Female Invest, a financial education and community platform that aims to empower women investors, and InvestEngine, an ETF investment management platform.
