06 Jonny Bevan: "We think happy should be our default, but it's not."

Season 1 Episode 6 Published 2 years, 7 months ago
Description

Jonny Bevan is a serving police officer and also a stress and burnout coach.  Having been on the brink of burnout himself and seeing the effects it had on both his family and work, he now strives to help others change their relationship with work in order to better manage the stresses of life and work, specifically in the police force.

We talk about all things stress, obviously, resilience and what to do with some of the more uncomfortable and challenging emotions we face.

We delve into how his determination to always prove himself led him to a breaking point, and how his wife played a pivotal role in his life transformation by helping him realise that attitude, not circumstances, was the problem.

Enjoy!
