It was a night Connor Bedard will never forget. The rookie phenom scored a goal in his first career game at the United Center, but unfortunately for the Chicago Blackhawks, it was not enough against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights. Bedard got the scoring started with a goal in the first period but was quickly answered by William Karlsson. Reese Johnson scored in the 2nd period on a great deflection. And in the closing seconds, Corey Perry tallied a goal of his own. The Golden Knights would go onto win 5-3.
