Why isn’t there a Cheesecake Factory in Port St. Lucie?

Season 1 Episode 9 Published 2 years, 9 months ago
Description

Ever wonder why restaurants and grocery stores decide to set up shop in certain cities? It depends on a lot of factors such as income level, population and whether the company is in an expansion mode. During Episode 9, Mayor Shannon Martin talks with Maureen about the criteria national chains – like The Cheesecake Factory and Trader Joe’s -- rely on before choosing to expand to a certain City, and how even though Port St. Lucie might not meet some of the criteria now, it doesn’t mean it won’t meet the criteria in the future.
