Episode Details

In the previous chapters we have seen how riding a lion into battle, Goddess Durga captures and slays the buffalo demon, by cutting off his head. She then destroys the inner essence of the demon when it emerges from the buffalo's severed neck, thereby establishing order in the world. In this chapter, we see that Indra and other deities praise the Mother for having vanquished Mahishasura.
