Description
In Lamentations 2:19, the prophet Jeremiah says, "Arise, cry out in the night at the beginning of the watches. Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands towards him for the life of your young children who faint from hunger at the head of every street."
The prophet Jeremiah stood with a broken heart as he watched his beloved people and nation being taken into captivity. When people turn from God, the children always suffer.
He watched as those who were young and impressionable were led into captivity and indoctrinated into godlessness by their captors. He knew that the nation was at a point where only God could turn it around and save the children.
My brother, my sister, it's time to pray.
