Some 22 years after Eddie Pennington began his trucking career in 1976, he won his first of 12 State Championships in Florida. The 2023 edition of the NTDCs will be his last run at the nationals as Eddie plans to retire at some point in the next year. Tim Taylor, a Captain with America’s Road Team and a friend of Eddie’s, asked PodWheels to spend some time talking with Eddie and looking back a career that includes four million safe driving miles. Tim, who is a course announcer at NTDC 2023, joins Greg Thompson from PodWheels in our chat with Eddie.
