I am sitting down with a very special guest, Sean BW Parker, a remarkable British writer, artist, and lecturer who has been making waves in the realms of art, culture, and justice reform. Born in Exeter in 1975, Sean's life journey has been filled with diverse experiences and profound achievements.

During his time living in Istanbul, Sean delivered an inspiring TEDx talk titled "Stammering and Creativity" in 2013, shedding light on the intersection of speech impediments and artistic expression. He has published numerous books, poems, and albums, garnering recognition through various accolades, including five Koestler Arts Awards and a Perry Lectures essay award.

Sean's latest book, "Compelling Speech," delves into the challenges faced by individuals who stammer in society, drawing from his own life experiences. His works have been featured in prominent publications like Timeout Istanbul, New Thinking, Louder than War, and Faction Magazine. Sean has also appeared at notable events such as the Brighton Science Festival and has been interviewed on platforms including NTV Turkey Rise and BBC Radio Wales.

In addition to his impressive written works, Sean has conducted insightful interviews with notable figures such as Julie Burchill, Ed Harcourt, Kirsten Hirsch, and Ian Broudy. He has also hosted shows featuring renowned musicians like Eat Static and has been actively involved in the vibrant music and arts scene at his Seafish venue on the UK South Coast. Moreover, Sean's talents extend to curating festivals such as Chi Signs, Blake Fest, and Wild Fest Mini Festivals from 2015 to 2017. His performances have graced numerous stages and captivated audiences far and wide.
