Description
In this episode we WadeOutThere with Josh Jenkins from Midland, Michigan. Josh is originally from Courdelane, Idaho and was introduced to fly fishing by his father as a child.
He attended college in Idaho, and spent his days studying mechanical engineering and trout streams. After his first year as an engineer out of school, Josh took advantage of an opportunity to move to Michigan and work as an engineer at Scientific Anglers designing fly lines. Today, Josh’s passion is chasing smallmouth bass in the surrounding streams where he lives and works.
We discuss the history of fly lines, fly line design and function, and smallmouth fishing in central Michigan.
