The journey commenced when Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, along with NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara, lifted off from Kazakhstan's Baikonur cosmodrome aboard the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft.
