This Week's Announcements:

Mother/Son Warrior Night is coming Friday, May 18th, from 5:30 to 8:00pm. Moms of preschool thru middle school boys, please join us & invite your friends for a night with jump house activities, parkour obstacle courses, crafts, pizza and ice cream sundaes we hope you and your son will absolutely love enjoying together! This is also a great opportunity to help serve. We need volunteers before, during and after the event to make this a fun, successful bonding time. Speaking of volunteer opportunities, there are a bunch of ways to get plugged in this Summer. We’ve created a special website at ljpres.events/serve. Finding a place to serve that uses your abilities and passions for God’s kingdom is a great way to ignite your faith, and build community.

Finally, Rev. Stan Beard is producing a special two-day seminar of Grand-Parenting. The sessions will run Mon. May 21st & Tue. May 22nd from 6:00 - 8:30pm in the La Jolla Pres. Fellowship Hall. There will be break-out sessions with experts delivering practical tips and valuable experience on topics like, “Long Distance Grand Parenting”, “Grand-Parenting in Difficult Family Situations”, “Teaching not Preaching Faith and Values” and many more.
