Good morning and happy Sunday! Welcome to our September 15th, 2019 service from La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Today Rev. Dr. Paul Cunningham is preaching, and shares a message titled, “Hope is the Key” it’s the start of the Fall sermon series titled, “Stranger in a Strange Land - Finding Hope in 1st Peter”. Today we’re looking at the theme of hope and mercy, as found in 1 Peter chapter 1, verses 1-9. If you would like to connect with our church, you can find our website at LJPres.org. Growth Groups will be starting up this week as we launch into a sermon series on 1st Peter. Growth Groups are a great way to get connected, find friendships, and grow spiritually. You can find some open groups on the website at ljpres.org/group.
La Jolla Pres is going green with Solar. We are excited to launch a solar project on the roof of the life center and children’s wing. The solar power project will be great for the environment, and also save the church $40,000 a year for many tears to come.
