The Penn State football recruiting Class enters the final quarter of its recruiting cycle as the calendar shifts to October. Today on the BWI Live Show, we'll look at the important dates left during the 2024 season for Penn State to impress talent and cap off the class. Recruiting insiders Ryan Snyder and Sean Fitz will also discuss the various recruiting topics coming into focus in the month's first week.

The current team hosts UMass for Homecoming this weekend so we'll give fans a sense of the type of players Penn State is inviting to the game. We'll also review September to find out what we learned about the Class of 2024.

Penn State hosts UMass

Penn State only has one big recruiting event left on the calendar for the upcoming season, when Michigan visits Happy Valley on Nov. 11. So how does the team maximize its remaining dates? We'll discuss the type of players coming to the UMass home game on Saturday and how targeted the Nittany Lions will be with their final scholarships.

After that, we'll examine the important dates remaining on the calendar for the season and map out what fans should expect in the coming months. Also, with several Big Ten schools experiencing turmoil this year, should Penn State set aside more scholarships in the transfer portal than they would typically do? We'll let our experts consider how they think the cycle will resolve in the coming months.

True or False: Recruiting Edition

While we'll spend most of our time looking ahead, it's always good to spend a moment reviewing what we've learned. Snyder gave three things he learned about the Class of 2024 last week, which we'll touch on today. Fitz will give some of his most significant takeaways from last month as well.
