Description

EPISODE 165 - Clark, Hyung and John open the show talking about the MLB post-season action, who they think will win the World Series, and if they were to try to make a short-term flip, which player currently in the playoffs they might invest in and why.

Then for Hobby Headlines, the guys give kudos to Fanatics/Topps for its recent marketing efforts to promote the hobby (ie. Topps Rip Night with Tom Brady/Kevin Hart/Travis Scott; Victor Wembanyama green refractor inscribed card in-person giveaway.) They also suggest a few more ideas that Fanatics might want to consider to further promote the hobby.

Next, the guys play another round of "Overrated/Underrated" with various hobby-related things such as the Allen & Ginter baseball card set, cut autographs, and Bowman Chrome pearl refractors, to name a few.

Lastly, they play their regular "Pick 1" segment where they are given two players or cards and subsequently debate which one they would rather invest in. Clark and John give some wild tacofractor scenarios to choose from, while Hyung puts up Yordan Alvarez Bowman Chrome refractor autograph card against a Bryce Harper Bowman Chrome base autograph card.
