Ever been caught driving through an unexpected storm? It can be terrifying. What about a hurricane? We would want to avoid being out in a storm like that at all costs. Now imagine being in the middle of a body of water, on a small boat, in the middle of a hurricane, and I’m sure you can start to imagine just how terrified the disciples were, and how perplexed they would have been that Jesus was asleep through it. In today’s scripture study, we’re going to talk about how we ought to respond when the storms of life hit, and what truths and promises of God we can cling to.
