In an episode that could never work today in an age of IG Live and Facetime, Season 2 kicks off by asking "What can the X-Men do if someone decides to open up Pandora's Box and reveal mutants to the world?" Kicking off with the introduction of a bunch of new students, we also see what happens to the Brotherhood without any sort of leader guiding them. With the leash off, Lance and crew decide to let the cat out of the bag and potentially bring a lot of grief to Scott, Kitty and the rest of the X-Men.

And make sure to tune in next week for a guest appearance from Steven E. Gordon, character designer and director of multiple episodes from the first two seasons of X-Men: Evolution!

Cyclops is Waiting for Me is our weekly podcast series where we are going back and watching EVERY-SINGLE-X-MEN-ANIMATED-EPISODE we can find. Our first series started with the original 1992 X-Men: The Animated Series building up to the release of X-Men 97’, coming to Disney Plus later this year. But since it’s not here yet, we needed to find some other shows to cover.
