Proverbs 3:25, in the King James translation, says: "Be not afraid of sudden fear." 

Sudden fear happens when we're surprised by news or events we didn't expect to happen when our day began. It can hit us as suddenly as an earthquake hits an unsuspecting city—an unexpected confrontation, a cell phone call, a doctor's report. Each of them can shake our foundation and cause us to begin to crumble inwardly. 

However, God tells us that when our minds and hearts are focused on the promises He has made to us, He will keep us in perfect peace no matter what comes our way. I encourage you to read His Word today.
