Professionalize Your Operation with Cary Jack
Description
Do you want to take your business to the next level?
Of course, you do! We all do. But here's the kicker—it's not about rocket science or reinventing the wheel. It's about professionalizing your operation. It's about doing what you do best, and doing it well, and scaling it up. And today, I'm going to show you how to do just that.
It's something I've recently implemented in my own business, and I can confidently say that it's the best thing I've done for my business. So, if you're ready to boost your income and make a more significant impact, stay tuned because this is for you.
You see, I used to be the guy who was randomly winging it. I thought I could handle it all by myself. But let me share a little backstory with you. My wife is due to have our baby boy. The urgency to professionalize my operation hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew I'd be taking time off for paternity leave in the fourth quarter to be with my family and embrace those precious moments. That's what being a lifestyle entrepreneur is all about—having the freedom to prioritize what truly matters.
So, I decided it was time to seek help. I already had an amazing team, my Happy Hustle family, but I needed some key roles filled. I needed a bookkeeper, and I also needed a project manager, specifically for my upcoming book launch. That's when I discovered Belay, an incredible company that connects businesses with virtual assistants, bookkeepers, and project managers. They act as the bridge, making the hiring process seamless.
If you're wasting your time on tasks that don't align with your unique genius, you're essentially throwing away your most precious commodity—time. That's why I focus on my Most Valuable Tasks (MVTs) and my Effective Hourly Rate (EHR). I've learned to stay in my zone of genius, and that's how I've managed to work only 20 hours a week while making more money and having a more significant impact than ever before.
So, whether you're a solopreneur, a small business owner, or even running a massive corporation, professionalizing your operation is the key to reaching your financial and personal freedom goals. It's how you get to that million, 10 million, or even 100 million a year.
Don't just talk about it; put it into practice. Get yourself professionalized. If you need a project manager, get one. If you need support, seek it out. Invest in systems, hire the right people, and create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that keep you on track.
Remember, if you're doing a task more than once, it's time to create a system for it. Use tools like Loom to record yourself performing tasks and turn them into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that your project manager or assistant can follow. This not only streamlines your operation but also empowers you to delegate effectively.
