It’s hard to think of God as enjoying our maturing process with all of its starts and stops, advances, and falling back. “Surely”, we think, “God’s got to be tired of all of my failures”. But that’s the way the world thinks about God. Pastor Daniel’s going to remind you that God made you. He knows how you’re supposed to be, and He also knows that you’re corrupted by the sinful nature we all have. But He also knows how we’re going to turn out, and He’s pleased.
