Professor Jo Boaler: Developing mindsets, embracing failure and mathematics as a way of ’seeing’ the world in front of us.

Season 12 Episode 122 Published 3 years ago
Description

Today, I have a very special episode for you. Professor Jo Boaler. Her work has been published in the New York Times, TIME magazine, The Telegraph, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal and many other news outlets. She is currently co-leading YouCubed and was named one of the eight educators “changing the face of education” by the BBC. We covered a lot of ground in our discussion, including parenting, pioneering in a male-dominated discipline, developing mathematical mindsets and how to embrace failure. I was honoured to have a conversation, and I hope it was as transformative for you as it was for me.
