Pull the Chute Podcast with Jeff and Janna, brought Mark Beran back to see how things are going. Mark was on the show earlier in the year and we talked about why retire, when we have so much more to still give back. Working with companies, offering our years of experience to make them better.
In all of the roles that Mark has held throughout his career, the common thread has been the ability to drive passion in a team to execute top priorities in order to drive the organization’s success.
His teams have consistently exceeded revenue and profitability goals and he is always looking to bring these same results to a new company.
Some successes: Transitioning to commercial leadership roles and eventually heading up Global Sales & Marketing for the most profitable division.
Driving value creation whether measured in operating income or EBITDA improvement.
Being involved with two private equity-backed companies and driving revenue and EBITDA growth while executing successful exits to both strategic and financial buyers.
Always maintaining a sense of curiosity and most recently building teams that executed on developing new intellectual property to dramatically improve patient care.
